 Many of the Raleigh's landmarks are all but gone except for in Denmark's photographs. Captured originally on large format film, the negatives still project their stories as they did in times past. Each portrait photograph details a candid glance into our immediate past and preserves it for generations of viewers.  Because of this tradition of fine portraiture in the family, Jay views these images as a personal, expressive contribution towards “defining photographic and social change at the dawn of the 21st Century.”
